Just to clarify, Har...Thanks for the comment, Kim.

Just to clarify, Haru is fine, and is snoring beside me as I type. We took a trip to the mountains yesterday, and she's probably still a bit tired.

I can imagine a trip across the ocean to pick up a pup takes a lot of planning and effort. I'm happy to help in any way I can. My email is visible on my profile page at http://www.nihonken.org My user name is The Walrus.

Though the Kai are few in number, there are plenty to go around, and pups are available more often than one might think. I just looked at a mail from a friend of mine earlier today about a litter.

Once you know what you want, as in what 'type' of Kai, what type of 'lines', sex, coloration, temperament, you can start looking for breeder. I know quite a few, but of course finding the one that you feel comfortable with is important.

I would suggest a trip to the Kai Ken Aigokai Tenrankai held in the spring and autumn every year in Yamanashi. You can see all the different 'types' there and make connections. With usually over 200 Kai in one place, I'm sure you'd enjoy just being there as much as I do.Katohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15300152062353477753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4288040046545674417.post-78565759457357289782009-10-15T13:52:43.276+09:002009-10-15T13:52:43.276+09:00Hello My mname is Kim I am a fan of the Kai Ken. I was wondering if I was lucky enough to be able to make a quick trip to Japan if and/or how I would be able to adopt (buy) a puppy to bring home.

I am truly hoping I am incorrect but my interpretation of you latest writings is that you lost you puppy. If I am correct you and your wife have my deepest sympathy. If I am incorrect I know Haru is filling you with joy as Kona's sister does my husband and I.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4288040046545674417.post-38835008986878581662009-10-15T09:59:40.717+09:002009-10-15T09:59:40.717+09:00I remind you of your longwindedness with the deepe...I remind you of your longwindedness with the deepest of affection. The Alien Travelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10395438792396021215noreply@blogger.com
